Bair, Goodie and Associates, Inc. (Bair Goodie) is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS, PS, RS) for leadership position at our Bucyrus Office located in Bucyrus, OH. Candidate must already be licensed, or have made significant progress toward licensure in order to apply.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a professional surveyor PS / PLS / RS / RLS; or

• SI / SIT working to become a PS; or

• Surveying Student working to become SI / SIT; or

• Survey crew chief
   

Knowledge of:

• Surveying activities including construction, boundary, topo.

• Minimum Standards for Boundary Surveys.

• State Plane Coordinate Systems;

• 3-D Point Clouds is plus.

• Photogrammetry is a plus.

• CAD designing software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
   

Skill in:

• Operation and maintenance of survey instruments (total station, GPS, digital level, data collector);

• Computer aided drafting (CAD) applications;

• Word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office);

• Operation of hand tools and small equipment.
   

Ability to:

• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions;

• Use proper research methods in gathering data;

• Take detailed notes and diagrams, cut brush, and drive stakes;

• Work independently and collaboratively;

• Work long hours outdoors under various field conditions;

• Maintain company equipment and survey vehicles (valid driver’s license);

• Lift up to 50-lbs of equipment.
